Automatic Pressure Adjustment - DreamStation AutoCPAP analyzes the patient's breathing throughout the night and automatically adjusts the optimal air pressure needed to prevent apneas from occurring.
SmartRamp - Used when falling asleep, this feature allows the pressure to increase only when a breathing event occurs during the ramp.
A-Flex - An innovative feature from Philips Respironics, A-Flex minimizes the patient's effort to exhale by reducing pressure. This allows the DreamStation to mimic natural breathing as closely as possible and increases comfort and compliance in therapy.
Opti-Start - The device starts treatment with the pressure used 90% of the time to correct apneas from the previous night, to prevent apnea events that may occur in the early stages of sleep.
EZ-Start - Facilitates adaptation of new patients to AutoCPAP therapy.
Auto Start/Stop - The machine starts and delivers air without having to press the start button. It stops automatically after a while when the mask is removed from the face.
Humidification included - Thanks to the included heated humidifier, the air is gently humidified and warmed preventing dry mouth or throat or nasal congestion.
Optional - A heated hose can be attached, which further enhances the comfort in therapy and additionally supports the maintenance of constant warmth between the device and the mask, thus preventing condensation on the tubing or in the mask. It is adjustable in steps from 1 to 5.
